Double Sleepover

It's still the holiday break... and with that comes family, friends, play-dates, and sleepovers. See how much friends, family and activities we can cram into the two weeks off from school. We've been doing our best to keep up the status quo in this area as well. But last night our family was a bit over the top. Not only did my daughters get to have a friend play all day yesterday, and then sleepover last night. Our new puppy Kenai also got to have a friend, Bodie, sleepover for the night. Bodie is another puppy that is two months older than Kenai. And let me tell you they play, and play, and play. Finally they were so tired, but wouldn't stop playing, we had to separate them so they would go to bed. Then first thing this morning they were right back at it.

This play time has been soooo good for Kenai. I think she has been dieing to play with another dog since we brought her home. Sure she's had Kenya, our 12 year old Lab. But she doesn't play, and really does most anything to avoid having a puppy knawing and pulling on her all of the time. Really I think Kenai just about gives the old dog a nervous breakdown most of the time. And a friend of ours from work has another older dog, about 6 years old, and he plays a bit more, but even he gets annoyed with her and just gives up. But no one plays like puppies do. So it's awesome. Wrestling, biting, tugging, running, and wrestling some more...Anyway, it's fun entertainment, even for me to watch..
