I knew I would like this book, before I read it. I had just come off of Karen Moning's Fever series, and knew these had to be just as good. And it was fun, having just read those books, to read the links to the story that are realated to both sets of books. Of course the men in this are unbelievable. I do also love the time period and location, the 1500s in Scotland. Such a beautiful place, castles, rolling hills, cliffs and ocean. Brave, fearless men. Strong, naturally beautiful women (this one has a very smart, stong-minded, sassy gal, Arianne- I thought she was great). It was easy to sweep up my imagination and pull me right in.
I'm in to read more of these!
